Numbers suggest many American protest convoy donors also gave to Trump , Republicans

Out of 200 of the top American donors to the convoy protest that paralyzed downtown Ottawa and blocked parts of the Canada-U.S. border , half have names matching those of donors to Republican candidates , the Republican Party or former U.S. President Donald Trump , according to analysis by CBC News.

Important MORBNOTE ; The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is THEE taxpayer funded , GOVERNMENT OPERATED Broadcasting system … It’s pretty much been ‘ liberal ‘ throughout the last 75 years , as the aging executive manage to hang on long enough to ‘ shape the narrative ‘ the way they wish … Despite the last three ‘ conservative ‘ governments … And , to be blunt folks … Mulroney was a ‘ Red Tory ‘ !!! … You ALWAYS know where they swing …

A search of the U.S. Federal Election Commission ( FEC ) campaign finance database for 200 of the top American donations to GiveSendGo’s convoy crowdfunding campaign shows that 50 per cent of those donors have names and zip codes matching those of people who have donated in the past to the Republican Party , one of its political action committees or Republican candidates.

And this is ‘ news ‘ ? … How so ? … Take a look at the current US Senate representation … It’s currently a 50 -50 split … With Knee-pads Harris the deciding vote … And you can’t figure out why ‘ half ‘ the people that sent donations to the Canadian truckers lean Republican ?!!! … And folks , if you were that attentive , you would understand that this CBC data refers to ‘ the TOP 200 donors ‘ only … Thousands donated !!! …

And if you have a basic understanding of mathematical ratios ( which , looking at the sorry state of affairs that is our , AND the USA’s , education system these days , may be suspect at this point !!! ) you would quickly conclude that 50 per cent of the donors were therefore Democrat Party donors or Independents …

So what’s your point ?!!! …

The names and zip codes of half of those Republican donors , about a quarter of the 200 convoy donors , match those of people who have donated directly to one of TRUMP’S campaigns or to one of the fundraising bodies that support him , like Save America or Bikers for the President.

There it is folks !!! … It’s all because of EVIL ORANGE MAN !!! …

Now stick with the math folks … We begin with a 50 / 50 split of 200 donors … 1/2 were Republican … Now we’re told to focus on the 1/2 of THOSE … Which amounts to ( assuming they haven’t labelled multiplication of fractions ‘ racist ‘ !!! ) 1 / 4 ( 1/2 of 1/2 ) or 25 % …

So the Liberal Party propaganda agency is hoping you side with Junior’s actions against peaceful protesters rather than be associated  with the Evil Donald , white supremist , Putin puppet ! … TRUMP !!! …

CBC was not able to individually verify the identity of each donor whose name and zip code matched that of a Republican donor. CBC News reached out to more than 50 Americans listed as having donated to the GiveSendGo campaign to ask what prompted them to support the convoy protest. Most did not respond. 

Well good for them !!! … WTF business is it of yours in the first place CBC ?!!! …

Politics in the social media age has turned to crap. And we all know how a pandemic made social media a virtual loony bin. So why would war in the social media age be any different ?

Speaking of which , on Saturday , Jesse Kelly made this astute observation on Twitter :

Ukraine is quickly becoming like COVID was in the very beginning in that you can see it destroy people’s minds in real time.

You can tell this is happening because they get angry with you if you don’t match their emotional state. Just like the initial covid panic.

I really am fascinated by this. I’m sure some smart head doctor can tell me what this is and why some people do it.

Why do some people allow themselves to be so consumed by the news cycle, they’ll actually ostracize friends and family over it ? I think it’s so bizarre.

Twitter is not the place to go for a measured , reasonable exchange of ideas. It never was.

But in wartime , the lunatics that inhabit Twitter get extra crazy.

And the funny thing is , the people who are cranking the nuttiness over Ukraine to Spinal Tap Eleventy-zillion aren’t just random nobody’s with seven followers. It’s coming from blue-check journalists and pundits , not to mention elected members of Congress.

On Tuesday , the United States Department of Interior ( DOI ) announced that it would be declaring the term “ squaw ” to be derogatory , and would rename over 600 historical sites that feature the term …

Yet , what does squaw mean in indigenous language ?

In its historical origin the word squaw as current dictionaries correctly indicate :

” squaw ” comes from a language of the Algonquian family in which it meant ” woman “.

As reported by CNN , DOI Secretary Deb Haaland first wrote an order back in November declaring that the longtime term “ squaw ,” which often referred to female Native Americans , was racist and sexist …

Well of course !!! …

To this end, Haaland announced the creation of the Names Task Force, consisting of 13 member s, for the purpose of coming up with new names for the over 600 sites that included the term in their names …

And how much does that cost the American taxpayers ?!!! …

“ Words matter , particularly in our work to make our nation’s public lands and waters accessible and welcoming to people of all backgrounds ,” said Haaland in her press release. “ Throughout this process , broad engagement with Tribes , stakeholders and the general public will help us advance our goals of equity and inclusion.”

Haaland provided no evidence to suggest that the term “ squaw ” is considered offensive , as the name has been used frequently throughout American history. Examples of such historical sites with the word in their names include White Squaw Island in Maine and Squaw Hollow in Oregon. But the DOI has already taken additional steps to completely erase the word from existence ;

In official internal communications , the word “ squaw ” now appears as “sq_ _ _.”

The DOI on Tuesday posted a list of potential replacement names , and is asking for public comment to contribute further possible names. The comment period will be open through the end of April.
