A successful black man makes a point …

I like what actor MorgMorgan Freeman On Accusations: “I Apologize To Anyone Who Felt Uncomfortable Or Disrespected” – Deadlinean Freeman said during an interview with CNN’s Don Lemon a few years ago.  “Do you think that race plays a part in wealth distribution or a mindset that you can’t make it in America?” asked the left-wing commentator.  Freeman, without hesitation, responded, “Today?  No, I don’t.  You and I, we’re proof.  What would race have to do with it?  Put your mind to what you want to do and go for it.”

Freeman is also quoted as saying, “If you want to end racism, stop talking about it.”

My point exactly Morgan !!! …

Religious leaders ‘ outraged ’…

After promising to deploy the U.S. military against protesters angry over the killing of unarmed Black people , President Donald Trump made his way to a historic Washington , D.C., church for a photo op where he held up a Bible and posed with members of his administration.

But moments before Trump’s journey to St. John’s Church , which lies right across Pennsylvania Avenue from the White House , police cleared a crowd of largely peaceful protesters using tear gas and other means of force — prompting outrage from religious leaders and politicians.

Trump visited the 200-year-old church a day after a small fire caused damage to its basement during ongoing protests over the death of George Floyd while in police custody on May 25 , which have spread from Minneapolis across the country and beyond.

The president held up a Bible and posed for photos at the front entrance with Attorney General Bill Barr , Defence Secretary Mark Esper and other administration officials , all of them white …

Now there ya go !!! … That’s the crime !!! … THEY’RE WHITE !!! …

George Floyd

MINNEAPOLIS — A medical examiner on Monday classified George Floyd’s death as a homicide , saying his heart stopped as police restrained him and compressed his neck , in a widely seen video that has sparked protests across the nation.

” Decedent experienced a cardiopulmonary arrest while being restrained by law enforcement officer(s) ,” the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office said in a news release. Cause of death was listed as ” cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual , restraint and neck compression.”…

OH , but by the way …

Under ” other significant conditions ” it said Floyd suffered from heart disease and hypertension , and listed fentanyl intoxication and recent methamphetamine use. Those factors were not listed under cause of death …

Hmmm … Big guy ( OH , and he’s ….” black ” ! ) is jacked up on fentanyl and meth but is ” simply protesting ” … The drugs and the existing heart condition weren’t the cause of death ?!!! …

A Minneapolis police officer was charged last week with third-degree murder in Floyd’s death , and three other officers were fired. Bystander video showed the officer , Derek Chauvin, holding his knee on Floyd’s neck despite the man’s cries that he can’t breathe until he eventually stopped moving.

OH BOO HOO !!! …

A separate autopsy commissioned for Floyd’s family also called his death a homicide. It concluded that that he died of asphyxiation due to neck and back compression , said the family’s attorney , Ben Crump , who called for the charge against Chauvin to be upgraded to first-degree murder and for three other officers to be charged. He didn’t say what the charges against the other officers should be.

That autopsy , by a forensic pathologist who also examined Eric Garner’s body , found the compression cut off blood to Floyd’s brain , and that the pressure of other officers’ knees on his back made it impossible for him to breathe , Crump said.

Both the medical examiner and the family’s experts differed from the description in last week’s criminal complaint against the officer of how Floyd died. The complaint , citing preliminary findings from the medical examiner , listed the effects of being restrained , along with underlying health issues and potential intoxicants in Floyd’s system. But it also said nothing was found ” to support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation.” Neither side has released its full autopsy report so far.

So much for the ” experts ” … But then again , who needs ” experts ” !!! … It’s obviously Trump’s fault !!! …

This is what happens when immigrants get into government positions …

Parliamentary Budget Officer Yves Giroux recently admitted that his previous estimate of the debt Canada will face due to coronavirus pandemic relief spending – $252 billion – was too optimistic : our federal debt will in all likelihood shoot up to $1 trillion or more.

Meanwhile , because of coronavirus shutdown measures , Canada’s unemployment rate has risen to 13% ( as compared to 5.5% in January 2020 ) , with two million jobs lost in April.

Many are questioning how we will get on the road to economic recovery , and Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino hinted at an answer earlier this month.

“ Immigration will absolutely be key to our success and our economic recovery … We continue to rely on immigration, it will be an economic driver and this will be the North Star of our policy going forward ” said Mendicino.

It will likely be difficult to convince Canadians facing an unemployment crisis that we should be pleased about resuming the plan to welcome one million new immigrants within the next three years. It’s likely we will soon be facing heavy government messaging trying to convince us of the economic virtues of immigration. When they do , we should have an understanding of the facts.

Mendicino and other immigration enthusiasts often cite Canada’s aging population as the reason why higher immigration levels are required. For Canada’s population to replace itself , we would need a total fertility rate of 2.1 children per woman , but this figure currently sits at 1.54. Canadians are having fewer children , which has caused concern that we will not have enough future workers and taxpayers to fund our social programs. Thus , many proclaim that immigration is the only answer.

As Minister Mendicino said in March , “ immigration is the only solution.”

Mendicino’s predecessor Ahmed Hussen has echoed this sentiment : “ Why do we need immigration ? Well , five million Canadians are set to retire by 2035. And we have fewer people working to support seniors and retirees.”

Gee , I wonder why a fella named Ahmed Hussen would be selling immigration ?! …

However , a policy piece authored by three economists concluded “ immigration is not a solution to demographic problems such as population ageing ” and “ What a large body of evidence indicates is that immigration is neither good nor bad for the economy , as assessed by its impact on the living standards of current citizens.”

Immigration is not a solution to an aging workforce because working-age immigrants bring along dependents such as small children , non-working spouses and parents or grandparents.

According to W. Craig Riddell et al.:

“ … newly arrived immigrants are a net drag on government budgets : they pay less in taxes on average and make average or slightly above average use of government services and benefits. Second-generation immigrants do well , however , which may offset this net drag to some extent , but the initial impact of a large increase in immigration should be expected to be an increase in taxes , a decrease in services , an increase in deficits , or some combination of the three.”

Precisely !!! …

Found at Blazing Cat Fur …

European governments are using the coronavirus pandemic to grant mass amnesties to hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants from Africa , Asia and the Middle East. While Europe is experiencing an economic shock without precedent , and tens of millions of Europeans have lost their livelihoods , migrants in Europe illegally are being showered with free housing and healthcare …

Pure BULLSHIT !!! …

FINALLY !!! … Roxham Road is closed …

The past week has seen governments ask most people to significantly change their daily habits. The various restrictions and social distancing measures requested , and in some cases mandated, by government to tackle COVID-19 has been wide-reaching.

Everyone’s plans , everyone’s life , was put on hold.

Except one supposedly protected class of individual : Illegal border crossers.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wisely halted all non-Canadians from flying into the country and shut down the Canada-U.S. border to non-essential travel. But then the question arose of Roxham Road , the illegal border crossing that still sees over 1,000 people cross into Canada each and every month.

The bizarre and irresponsible phenomenon first cropped up in early 2017 , around the time Trudeau recklessly tweeted to the world’s migrants that “ Canadians will welcome you … #WelcomeToCanada”. ( PS. He still hasn’t deleted that post. )

It’s since gone from being a patch of grass into a fully-staffed one stop shop for anyone who wants to skirt the usual protocols , jump the queue and apply for asylum in Canada on their own schedule and on their own terms.

The sensible thinking was that closing the border meant just that , closing the border , and that this would apply to Roxham Road as well.

But the Liberals then confirmed that the illegal border crossing they love to defend would remain open.

Their caveat was that the claimants were being housed for 14 days to make sure they don’t have the virus. It’s troubling that they didn’t stress this from the get go.

That soon appeared to be fake news though , as the head of the border agents union told Postmedia publication The Montreal Gazette that this just wasn’t true. They weren’t being put into the same isolation as a Canadian citizen returning from, say , Florida was expected to do.

Finally , on Friday , Trudeau announced that anyone attempting to enter the country at  Roxham Road would be turned back. He said this had been decided in agreement with the United States.

Yeah !!! … The Trumpster probably told him to quit kissin’ KBec ass !!! …

How Coronavirus Will Strengthen Trump’s 2020 Campaign – American Thinker

This public health issue is ignored by all those Americans championing sanctuary cities. The issue is also ignored by Americans clamoring for open borders …

By the way , in the late 19th century and early 20th century , when masses of European immigrants were trying to enter our country , those with dangerous diseases were turned back from Ellis Island. Americans hadn’t ” progressed ” to the point of thinking anyone in the world has a legal right to live in America. Neither did they think it was cruel or racist to take measures to prevent our fellow Americans from catching diseases from foreigners.

In the final analysis , the coronavirus crisis will turn out to be a gigantic boost to Trump’s campaign in ways that could never have been foreseen and utilized if it had never happened. This is not to say the crisis is a good thing ; rather , it will be devastating for Joe Biden when he goes to campaign against Trump on the all-important and inter-related issues of  border security , health , and jobs.

Biden simply will not be able to present a message that will be coherent or credible to counteract Trump’s ongoing and successful theme of always putting America first.

Poverty ? … In Brampton ? … Hmmm … I wonder who that could be !!! …

Although Canada is doing very well when it comes to lifting people out of poverty, there are still many residents who are struggling at a time when housing is more expensive than ever—and many of those people live in the Region of Peel …

My neck of the woods !!! … So before I continued reading … I KNEW what the problem was going to be !!! …

Fortunately for those struggling to make ends meet in Brampton , United Way is providing $2 million in funding to help support local advocacy groups and create three neighbourhood-specific initiatives.

Eight agencies across the region have been selected to become anchor agencies , meaning they will work closely with United Way to address systemic solutions to poverty.

These eight Peel anchor agencies, which include Caledon Community Services , Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre , Family Services of Peel , Malton Neighbourhood Services , Our Place Peel … ( Drumroll please !!! ) …  Polycultural Immigrant and Community Services , and Punjabi Community Health Services , Indus Community Services ( Gurpreet Malhotra is the CEO !!! ) … will receive enhanced general operating support over the next three years to help them give people opportunities to thrive.

Ya don’t have to be Columbo to figure out the setup at MNS … They’re right by the airport !!! … They all focus on immigrants …

For starters … Learn how to speak the language of our country ( ENGLISH , fuck the KBecWAH mangled version of French ! ) BEFORE you even apply … Or come here for that matter !!! …

2 million dollars would be far more wisely spent on people born here , for generations , that require some assistance and will become independent quickly … Getting back to contributing after some hard times kicked ’em down for a bit …

Shut the door …

Disenchanted by the restrictive visa policies in the US, the number of Indians getting permanent residency in Canada increased by 105 per cent in the first 11 months of 2019 alone, the Virginia-based National Foundation for American Policy (NFAP) said in a report.

The NFAP analysis of Immigration, Citizenship and Refugees data in Canada showed that the number of Indians who became permanent residents in Canada increased from 39,340 in 2016 to 80,685 in 2019, the American Bazaar reported on Wednesday citing the report as saying.

The increase also means that the full year Canadian statistics will likely show more than 85,000 Indians gaining permanent residency in Canada in 2019, according to the report.

I share BCF’s concern …

NO !!! … LESS !!! … LESS !!! …

A thought to keep in mind in relation with the previous post a few days ago …

The number of Muslims in Canada predicted to triple over next 20 years  , sparking a debate among moderate Muslim-Canadians about whether the country is ready to deal with the community’s more extremist members.

The current number of Muslims — 940,000 — comprises 2.8% of the Canadian population … However …

A recent report from the Washington-based Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life

Said they will increase both in number and proportion of the country — 2.7 million , or 6.6% of the Canadian population , by 2030. By comparison , Muslims are expected to make up 1.7% of the U.S. population by that time.

This next stat should be a shot of cold water to people not paying attention ! …

The Pew report , “ The Future of the Global Muslim Population ” also found there are now 1.6 billion Muslims globally , accounting for 23.4% of the world population , and by 2030 there will be 2.2 billion Muslims , or 26.4% of the global population. In 1990 , Muslims made up 19.6% of the world’s people.

A quarter of the Earth’s population and they are spreading across the globe !!! …
