I forgot about this !!! …

This is from another blog that I started ten years ago … That never really got off the ground ! … In light of the present global political arena right now … I think I’ll get back into it !!! …

Harry knew how to get things done !!! … THIS is how ya deal with today’s bullshit !!! …

Lovin’ It ! … Keep Messin’ With Their Heads Don !!! …

Donald Trump’s ferocious money-raising machine , powered in equal measure by grassroots giving and large individual and corporate donations , has never really stopped turning … And it is currently raising huge sums of cash.

As of this month , Trump has $108,046,100 saved in his Save America political fund , more than the Republican and Democratic national committees combined and 12 times as much as the fund ( Pac for the Future ) for the Democratic House speaker , Nancy Pelosi.

And all of that has been raised while Trump’s own ambitions remain unclear. Though his grip on the Republican party remains tight ( and he has waged an endorsement war against his opponents ) the big question over whether Trump will run again for the White House remains unanswered.

Without any declared candidacy , his war chest’s purpose and thus also that of its master , is unclear … And deliberately so …

Despite Trump’s more than 120 Republican endorsements, and even as Democrats pour money into the effort to retain control of Congress , the massive accumulation of cash under his control raises the question : what is it for ?…

The question of Trump’s pac money is beginning to vex strategists on both sides of the political divide. It could be a fund designed to ensure the loyalty of Republican allies forming a new power base within the party , or he may have other designs … Namely securing his own path forwards by securing the political future of loyalists.

Trump is certainly on the move , holding rallies across the US with the usual aim of endorsing local supportive politicians. In some ways , it’s a substitute for social media blackout , in another it’s Trump connecting with his base in the way that has served him in the past.

Earlier this month, he held a rally in South Carolina in support of Russell Fry , a state representative he endorsed to challenge the incumbent Republican congressman Tom Rice.

Fry spoke briefly , before handing the podium back to Trump who continued for 20 minutes. “ In 2024 we are going to take back that beautiful White House. I wonder who will do that. I wonder , I wonder ” Trump teased …

One can predict from how other former president or politicians have spent their money , but Donald Trump is not a conventional politician ”…

The key to making the deal work in practice might be found in the agreement’s second sentence : ” To ensure coordination on this arrangement , both Parties commit to a guiding principle of ‘ no surprises’ “…

” There was no animosity. We just needed a little break ” a senior Liberal source with direct knowledge of the talks , speaking on condition they not be named , told the CBC this week.

Unlike similar confidence-and-supply agreements in Ontario, British Columbia and the Yukon ( which came about very quickly after elections ) there was no great urgency to the negotiations between Trudeau and Singh. The Liberal minority government was relatively secure and found the support it needed to pass several measures before the House of Commons adjourned in December.

Still , reports of possible collaboration were greeted enthusiastically in November by Erin O’Toole , who was still hanging on as Conservative leader. Faced with his own problems , O’Toole condemned what he described as a Liberal-NDP “coalition.”

But unlike the negotiations between Jack Layton’s NDP and Stephane Dion’s Liberals in the feverish fall of 2008 , these Liberal-NDP talks do not appear to have considered a coalition government at any point.

” We want to be independent enough to be able to be critical. We want to be able to oppose and to call for more ” an NDP source , speaking on condition they not be named , said this week.

The NDP source said that maintaining a tight circle lowered the likelihood of further leaks. Due to the pandemic , most of the discussions happened by phone or video conference.

The bulk of the deal seems to have come together in the last two weeks. An NDP source said the party wanted to have an agreement in place in time to influence the government’s spring budget.

Apparently here’s another one …

A Liberal source said that , as the March 14 discussion was concluding , news was also breaking of a NATO leaders’ summit scheduled for Brussels this week. That meant a deal needed to be completed quickly if it was to be announced before the prime minister departed.

According to the Liberal source , Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland was kept in the loop and other cabinet ministers were consulted about aspects that touched on their departments.

IF YOU’VE GOT SOMETHING TO SAY … SAY IT … AND PUT YOR NAME ON IT !!! …

It’s either that ! …

OR STFU !!! …

Convicted ‘ Toronto 18 ’ terrorist to become Canadian lawyer ? … Figures ! …

!SaadGayaIn 2006 , Saad Gaya ( and more than a dozen other radical Islamist ) planned to detonate bombs throughout Toronto , Canada’s largest city. Blessedly , the plot was foiled in a national security operation. Gaya was arrested while unloading what he believed to be ammonium nitrate for making truck bombs. The al-Qaeda-inspired plot was purportedly to target the Toronto Stock Exchange , the Parliament , Canada’s spy agency and a military base , among other venues. Gaya and his accomplices planned to take political hostages. And behead various Canadian leaders including the Prime Minister.

In 2009 , Gaya pleaded guilty to the commission of an offense for a terrorist group. He was sentenced to serve 18 years in prison. However , he was released on parole after only 10 years , finishing his sentence in 2020. Not bad for a guy that was involved with a plot to blow up bombs all over a metropolis of 6.2 million souls… and decapitate its leaders.

And today ? The Law Society of Ontario has decided to allow the convicted terrorist to become a licensed lawyer ! You read that right. How could this happen , a sane person might ask ? Well , the Law Society’s Tribunal decided he was “ presently of good character ” finding him eligible to become a lawyer based on its assessment of his remorse and conduct since his “ offense ”…

The Tribunal stated ; “ Clients , and our society as a whole , will benefit from Mr. Gaya becoming a lawyer  ”…

Well , I guess it’s preferable to him blowing up Toronto and beheading Canadian leaders …

Gaya is obviously a great guy who only briefly ( and in his youth , mind you ) flirted with blowing places up and beheading people … I mean , give him a break ! … It’s not like he walked through the Capitol Building or something … Or misgendered someone ! …
