Three good articles worth perusing …

The judges’ angry rebukes of the Republican plaintiffs are bogus by the very terms they use. If our judges are not willing to “disenfranchise” fraudulent and illegal votes, then they are disenfranchising the entire country.

We are not getting the candidate who won the election. But the Supreme Court tells us our state attorneys have no standing to protect our votes.

ANOTHER ONE ;

Few developments in recent memory have had more of an impact on the conservative faith in the virtues of the market than the outsized role social media companies have come to play in our lives. At one point long ago, in a very different America, social media was a “problem” insofar as it was clearly seen as a sort of dopamine rat maze marketed to impressionable children and feckless young adults.

Academics like Jonathan Haidt talked about the negative effects, such as a rapid spike in suicide attempts among girls that seems to have coincided with the public launch of Facebook. Meanwhile, the hegemonic libertarian orthodoxy of the Right offered a shrug in response: “Hey, it’s a free market, so if you don’t like it, log off and don’t use it !”

But those were the good old days of the 2000s and early 2010s, the heyday of a Bush and Obama-led neoliberal consensus. Back then, radical identitarian ideology, at least in the imaginations of many on the Right, was seen as a passing fad, a phase for “extremely online kids” and “liberal arts majors” who certainly would all grow out of it once they got “a real job.”

But as it happened, the companies and the workplaces bent to the whims of these extremely online liberal arts majors, while the ideologies of the Left held firm. And thus the role of social media companies went from merely exhausting the dopamine receptors and spiking anxieties among young folks to becoming fully-fledged political actors in their own right, using their power and their platforms in order to ”guide” political discussion.

It’s Not Just the Censorship

Out Coddled Elites and all the Pain They Feel …

Rather than writing myriad posts about updated election fraud information, this post provides an overview. With the Supreme Court becoming an increasingly slender reed on which to rely, the information below in the new front in the battle against election fraud.

AND ONE MORE …

President Trump went on the offensive against state legislatures contemplating certifying votes despite significant evidence of fraud:

Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump·Dec 13, 2020Swing States that have found massive VOTER FRAUD, which is all of them, CANNOT LEGALLY CERTIFY these votes as complete & correct without committing a severely punishable crime. Everybody knows that dead people, below age people, illegal immigrants, fake signatures, prisoners,….This claim about election fraud is disputed

Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump…..and many others voted illegally. Also, machine “glitches” (another word for FRAUD), ballot harvesting, non-resident voters, fake ballots, “stuffing the ballot box”, votes for pay, roughed up Republican Poll Watchers, and sometimes even more votes than people voting, took….This claim about election fraud is disputed

In all Swing State cases, there are far more votes than are necessary to win the State, and the Election itself. Therefore, VOTES CANNOT BE CERTIFIED. SCOTUS’s knife in the back …

Today, Donald Trump is the most dangerous man on the planet.  At this moment, America needs him more than he needs America. Trump could shoot the biggest middle finger ever to the entire nation, retire to a private island, or his penthouse, or his Florida compound, overcook his prime steaks and douse them with ketchup, and really who could blame him?  It’s not as if he’ll outlive his money.  He doesn’t need us.  He doesn’t need anyone.  He has “F-U” money, and unlike others with big money — such as Nancy Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein and everyone ever named Kennedy — he doesn’t have this sick psychotic need to rule over others for 60 years of government life.  Trump is the freest man on the planet tonight.  He needs nothing.

We, however, are no longer the freest people on the planet.  We need some help.

Our feckless Supreme Court has chosen guaranteed cocktail party invitations with the beautiful people in the swamp over the Constitutional Republic — and favored phony pieces of mailed ballots and theoretical Dominion algorithms over flesh-and-blood voters.

As it stands, President Donald Trump faces what may be the most distasteful test of patriotism any president has ever faced.  And it may be among the most important ever as well.  To be fair, this is not the horrible choice of instantly killing hundreds of thousands of non-combatant citizens — including kids — the kind of decisions surrounding the bombings of Dresden, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki in World War 2.  Clearly not.  But on a personal gut level, it must be an even more bitter choice.  And again, in this, we need him more than he needs us — or anyone, or anything.

We will find out whether or not Trump can maintain his love of country and commitment to duty, just hours and days after that country’s core institutions have proven to be incredibly corrupt and immovably stacked against him and his voters.  Can he muster enough love of America to overcome what must be a well earned deep well of hate and resentment toward this nations’ highest court, its entire media complex, the entertainment industry, and the entire educational establishment?  After four years of unprecedented and unimaginable hate and lies from all quarters, can he possibly still give a damn?

I’m not sure I could.  And I don’t have F-U money to fall back on.

Mexican officials terrified of Biden’s open-borders-and-amnesty dinner triangle …

This is a good one from Monica Showalter over at American Thinker …

How’s this for a buried lede? This ran in the ninth paragraph of a Washington Post story about presumed president-elect Joe Biden and his coming relations with Mexico :

Mexican officials have private concerns that any moves to revoke Trump’s enforcement mechanisms too quickly could have a dam-bursting effect at their southern border, unleashing pent-up demand from desperate Central Americans.

“Our southern border was a mess, and it’s under control now,” said a senior Mexican official who spoke on the condition of anonymity for lack of authorization to discuss potential relations with the United States under the Biden administration[.]

So much for this new era of “restored” comity and normalcy in foreign relations, as Biden, his team, and their press lackeys have promoted.  Already we’ve seen the fear and pre-emptive triage actions in the Middle East based on fears of a return to the Obama lead-from-behind policy of weakness.  We’ve also see the fear in East Asia as small Pacific Rim nations and democracy campaigners in places like Hong Kong worry about a rampant China and a naive and ineffectual Jimmy Carter-style Biden administration.

Now we’ve got a full blown concern from Mexico that with Biden ringing the dinner trial of amnesty, migrant surges will trash Mexico, as if that country didn’t have enough problems as it is.  If you want to start a migrant surge, there probably isn’t a better way to do it than to advertise free amnesty at the destination, as Mickey Kaus noted in one of his tweets.

As for Mexico, too bad.  Biden cares so little about the U.S. that he’s happy to trigger a migrant surge in a bid to please far-left activists who hate America anyway.  He doesn’t care about how migrant surges drive down U.S. wages, raise U.S. health and education costs, and set Central American nations up for failure as remittance states, something that the World Bank has noted will under develop a country.

The Mexicans can read the writing on the wall from that and pretty well know that if Biden cares this little about American law and order.  Why the heck would he care about law and order in Mexico?

Mexico knows that their own nation is going to be flooded with thousands of unvetted Central American migrants, which will include the indigent, the criminals they pay big dollars to to shepherd them, and the leftist advocates who promote their caravans with all the orderliness of Antifa.  Some will be just plain criminals, too, given that nobody needs papers in a migrant surge.  The huge protests by angry Mexicans in Tijuana and other border towns, watching their cities descend into an orgy of crime, disease, and social disintegration got the message to Mexico City.  It may even have gotten the message to deep blue south Texas, where Latino voters with family links to Mexico and concerns about migrant surges in voted in historic numbers for President Trump …
