A website that presents itself as the White House gift shop has unveiled a seemingly unauthorized “ commemorative coin ” claiming to pay tribute to the coronavirus pandemic , with a price tag of US$125.

The site , which is listed as a “ dot-com ” domain and not a “ dot gov ” , nevertheless presented the coin in the style of a product linked to U.S. President Donald Trump.

The coins prompted a flurry of anger online from many high-profile figures , including Democratic Sen. Bernie Sanders , who retweeted a story that took the coin to be an official White House product.

The site whitehousegiftshop.com was untangled from the government about 9 years ago and is now owned by a separate private entity , according to reporting by Josh Marshall at the site Talking Points Memo. Marshal uncovered details about the site while investigating another commemorative coin design in 2018.

Obviously some angry Democrap Criminals attempting to make fast money off the Chinky Flu and hatred of Trump !!! … And the MSN is , of course , first to run with it !!! …

And BERNIE BOUGHT IT !!! … You wanted to be the prez  ?!!! … Ya senile old commie !!! LOL !!! …

Barr and company are quietly getting to the bottom of the swamp …

The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) released the first quarter Gross Domestic Product (GDP) advanced estimate and the result is a 4.8% decline in economic activity … [BEA Here] …

The revised fourth quarter GDP shows the economy was growing at 2.1 percent prior to the COVID-19 shutdown.  The severity of the change in GDP reflects a severe drop in consumer spending, essentially bringing the economy to a halt in March as the entire nation went into lock-down …

As the BEA explains :

The decline in first quarter GDP was, in part, due to the response to the spread of COVID-19, as governments issued “stay-at-home” orders in March. This led to rapid changes in demand, as businesses and schools switched to remote work or canceled operations, and consumers canceled, restricted, or redirected their spending.

The full economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic cannot be quantified in the GDP estimate for the first quarter of 2020 because the impacts are generally embedded in source data and cannot be separately identified. (more)

I Think I’m Back !!! …

That’s another of a couple of header pics I haven’t updated for 2020 for !!! … Hopefully I’ll get around to it soon … Like BEFORE 2021 rolls in !!! …

Posts have been pretty sparse the past couple weeks …. But NONE for the past four days !!! … That’s due to getting pretty under the weather , to the point it’s pretty lasted SEVEN DAYS !!! ….

And NO !!! … It ain’t the Chinky Virus !!! …

Stomach flu … Or bug … Or whatever …. Had before for about 3 1/2 last winter … Could be the ‘ somethin’ I ate ‘ thing as well … But I’ve never had that problem before in my life … Sure , every now and then we all have eaten something that obviously was in the fridge or feezer too long , or sat at the grocery store and was ‘ off ‘ when we bought it … But that has always resulted one night of discomfort and in the morning it has calmed down … Get a good brekky in and you’re back to normal … BUT SEVEN DAYS !!! …

It got to the point where a couple days I pretty spent the whole day up stairs in the bedroom , sleeping  ( trying to sleep ! ) or pending a half at the computer … Didn’t eat a thing !!! … This , of course , causes a complication …  Your stomach is pretty much empty and it starts givin’ ya shit about ! ( Well , not really obviously !!! …

I never get a solid 8 hours uninterrupted sleep ( or 6 for that matter ) , but for the past six nights I’d be lucky to get 45 minutes without writing around or sitting up because mine spine was giving me grief as well … TRIFECTA !!! … The third day in with this stomach BS I musta bin so tired I actually slept for FIVE hours straight !!! … I was that sleep deprived … BUT !!! ( and this is a bit BUT !!! ) I obviously slept in a position that I would normally wake to as it was causing discomfort in the lower spine where the pins and screws are … When I tried to get up around 5:30 A.M. I couldn’t straighten up … That day was one of the days I spent in bed and didn’t eat a thing …

By Sunday , the thought of attempting to eat was still unappealing to me , but I felt the weakness in my body due  not consuming nourishment … I’d look inside the cupboards and fridge … Not see anything I ‘ felt ‘ like eating , but forced myself to eat SOMETHING !!! … For the next few days , although , on a few occasions I thought it was going to come back out the way it went , but that only actually happened once … Most unpleasant !!! … But slowly , I’m approaching normal … Normal for me anyway !!! …

So , hopefully , with the nicer weather approaching I can get back to ‘ my ‘ normal …
