A look at all of Trump’s enemies …

The legend of Horatius , standing athwart the Pons Sublicius to defend Rome against Etruscan invaders in 508 B.C. , is described by Plutarch in his ” Life of Publicola ” as well as Lord Macauley in ” Horatius at the Bridge ” ( 1842 ).

President Trump is today’s Horatius, heroically defending us against the foreign invasion.

The president is making a stand against the invaders and those who support them in their effort to overrun the United States.  He is outnumbered.  Supporting the invasion :

21. The Illegal Aliens …

President Trump is reprising the role of Horatius.  The citizens of Rome are counting on him.  He needs our support.  As Macauley put it in his poem :

Then out spake brave Horatius,
The Captain of the gate:
‘To every man upon this earth
Death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better
Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his gods.’

This guy’s got a point … In my lifetime I’ve never witnessed an elected Western leader who has been so ‘ organizationally ‘ attacked  … So relentlessly … EVERY STEP he attempts to take … Years into his first mandate … There may be the odd sour grapes from the press for a week or so … The Bush / Gore Florida ballot fiasco paused things briefly , but was clarified and faded … But this shit with Trump has reached maniacal heights …

On Epstein case … Barr ‘s ‘ Watching ‘…

If there’s any doubt about whether President Trump’s Attorney General knows what he’s doing , take a look at this one little modification to his declaration that he would recuse himself from the Jeffrey Epstein child-molesting case involving Democrats.

It would appear Bill Barr is recused from aspects surrounding Epstein that connect to the earlier Florida prosecution ; and prosecutorial position of the DOJ at the time-frame of the Florida plea agreement ( via U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta ) ; however , Bill Barr is not recused from the current SDNY prosecution in 2019 ( via U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman ).

For the Florida case Barr is recused … For the SDNY case , Barr is not recused …  So AG Barr will have oversight during the SDNY case against Jeffrey Epstein.

So the facts of the case are so airtight he thinks it best to let the work of the law do the work of the law without any wounded and furious Democrat gumming up the matter by yelling ‘ political prosecution ‘. The Epstein case is so strong it speaks for itself …

Why would Barr give up oversight on as politicized a U.S. Attorney’s office as the Southern District of New York … It’s the one hyper-ambitious Obama loyalist Preet Brarara once led , the one that tried to torture Paul Manafort at Rikers Island , the one that has the tax fishing expeditions going on against the Trump Organization , and its prosecutor is the daughter of fired former FBI director James Comey ? You know they’re in need of some babysitting …

Barr’s message to that crew was : Not so fast. He’s still watching you.

He’s a sharp bastard. For Democrats , it’s never easy when they have to play by the rules they set themselves …
