Mexico has just deployed 15,000 troops on our southern border in a muscular bid to stop and deter migrants from crossing into the USA illegally.

This is a big milestone as it shows the Mexican government is serious about stemming the flow of migrants … As CNN ( ?!!! ) reports :

Mexico has deployed almost 15,000 troops to the US-Mexico border , according to the country’s Secretary of Defense Luis Sandoval.

“ In the northern part of the country , we have deployed a total of almost 15,000 troops composed of National Guard elements and military units ” Sandoval announced today in Cancun.

Approximately 2,000 National Guard members have already been deployed to Mexico’s southern border with Belize and Guatemala , he noted , adding to the 4,500 troops already spread across the area. Many migrants begin their journey in Central America and even further south , passing through Mexico on their way toward the United States.

The deployments come after renewed pressure from the Trump administration on Mexico to help slow migration flows northward. Mexico , however , has also called on the United Nations and the United States to help with the monumental task.

This is another win for President Trump and the American people.

The Mexican government is sadly doing far more to solve this problem than Democrats …

Lets hope the voters remember that Democrats had no interest in fixing the crisis at the border  in November 2020.

The SkyTrain extension along Vancouver’s Broadway corridor to UBC is one step closer to being built , and embattled SNC-Lavalin is one of three engineering companies shortlisted to design and build it.

SNC-Lavalin is the Montreal-based engineering firm charged with fraud in a corruption case involving massive bribes paid in Libya and at the centre of a political controversy earlier this year. There are concerns that if successfully prosecuted, their projects could be delayed.

This KBec criminal organisation should be barred from bidding on ANY projects until their court proceedings are concluded , and the high priced , taxpayer funded , graft grabbin’ execs and all other guilty people have been jailed …

U.S. Democrats say Robert Mueller has agreed to testify publicly before the House judiciary and intelligence committees after both panels issued subpoenas to him Tuesday evening.

House judiciary committee chair Jerrold Nadler and House intelligence committee chair Adam Schiff said in a joint statement that the former special counsel has agreed to testify on July 17 about the Trump-Russia report he issued in April.

The committees have been in negotiations with Mueller for more than two months about his testimony. But he has been hesitant to testify or speak about the investigation beyond a public statement he issued last month.

In a letter to Mueller accompanying the subpoenas , the committee chairmen said “the American public deserves to hear directly from you about your investigation and conclusions.”

Speaking later on MSNBC , Schiff said Mueller did not want to testify. ” I don’t think the special counsel’s office would characterize it as a friendly subpoena. He did not want to testify , he made that very clear … Nonetheless , they will respect the subpoena.”

Schiff said every committee member will get a chance to question Mueller.

Asked if he is worried the White House will try to block the testimony , Nadler predicted , on CNN , that Mueller won’t let anybody tell him to defy a lawful congressional subpoena.

So … What will Jerry The Hut do if Bobby doesn’t give him what he wants ? … Start a campaign against Mueller , saying how much of a liar and Trump facilitator he is ? .. Like Bill Barr ? …

The Canadian Pork Council said in a statement Tuesday night that the halt in Canadian exports is not the result of a food safety issue but ” the misuse of Canada’s reputation as a supplier of safe quality products.”

China is considering halting all meat imports from Canada starting Wednesday after the Canadian Food Inspection Agency notified China that it had discovered a number of inauthentic veterinary health certificates in some meat products bound for China , according to a government official.

China already has halted imports from three Canadian pork producers over food safety issues — two in May and another earlier this month — as trade tensions between the two countries have escalated.

A Canadian government official , who spoke to CBC News on the condition they not be named ( ‘Course ! … Don’t want to be accepting any responsibility ! … ) , confirmed the CFIA notified its Chinese counterparts it had uncovered faked veterinary certificates for some Canadian meat products.

In response, the official said , China was considering halting all meat shipments from Canada. The official also said the federal government expects developments to emerge throughout the evening.

According to a statement released by China’s embassy , a batch of pork from Canada was found to contain residues of ractopamine , a feed additive banned in many countries. Imports of pork from that facility were halted pending an investigation on the Canadian side.

” The subsequent investigation revealed that the official veterinary health certificates attached to the batch of pork exported to China were counterfeit and the number of those forgery certificates was up to 188 ” …
