After two years and millions of dollars spent on a fruitless investigation , Robert Mueller finally crawled from the primordial ooze to reveal himself as a swamp-dwelling Deep State weasel bent on overthrowing the President of the United States.
We refer , of course , to his ” special announcement ” on Wednesday which revealed not a scintilla of new or relevant information , but was packed with deceptive wording , insinuation , and innuendo. Which is , coincidentally , where we’d like to tell Mueller to shove his report and his opinions.
Mueller stated that he didn’t have the power to indict a sitting President even if that President had committed a crime – strongly suggesting that if this weren’t the case , he’d already have Trump in manacles. But no significant evidence of any crime involving Trump was included in his encyclopedic report. Which is why he’s now trying to spin the results.
Similarly , Mueller stated that the Constitution requires a process other than the criminal justice system to bring charges against a sitting President. As a statement , it’s perfectly true. As an insinuation, it practically screams that Mueller believes Congress should impeach Trump , despite his having committed no crimes.
Well … Surely Congress is already aware of this fact … Why would they need Bob to point that out ? … Is that supposed to add ‘ validity ‘ to their attempts ? …
Left-wing media sources ( redundant , we know ) are throwing confetti in the air , high-fiving , and popping champagne corks as they happily report that Mueller has very strongly implied that Trump was colluding with the Russians ( who , according to Mueller , had a massive effect on the 2016 election ) , was guilty of obstructing justice even though nothing actually was obstructed , and that Trump needs to be impeached because … uh … because the Left finds him , his hair , his wife , his supporters , and his continuing successes so damn annoying.
As bad as all this is , Trump himself gave the media another stimulating pop of amyl nitrate when he subsequently tweeted that ” I had nothing to do with Russia helping me to get elected.”
Ooops !!! … Ya gave ’em a big one there Don !!! …
He later tried correcting the clumsily worded ( surprise ! ) tweet , but it was too late. Alleged news outlets and social media were already ablaze with the news that Trump himself had finally admitted Russian collusion.
So … Between Mueller’s deliberate obfuscation and Trump’s par-for-the-course mangling of words , this hasn’t been a great couple of days for those of us who , unlike Mueller , are still interested in justice , the fair application of laws , and our Constitution.
We can only hope that the Barr investigation of the power players behind this attempted coup will soon pay off , and real justice will be carried out promptly , fairly , and mercilessly.

Four pedestrians had been mown down and killed , a police officer had been stabbed to death , and 49 people had been injured , some crippled for life.
But for woke crusader Eaton — then-deputy editor of the left-wing political journal the New Statesman — the main lesson of all these people being murdered and maimed by an Islamic terrorist was just how wonderful diversity is.

John Cleese has today taken another swipe at London as he tried to defend his claims that it is ‘ not really an English city anymore.’
The 79-year-old said his remarks were ‘ culturalist ’ rather than racist after he was criticised by politicians and members of the public.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan even claimed it made him sound more like his famous Fawlty Towers character Basil Fawlty.
But responding to his 5.6million followers on Twitter , Cleese detailed a list of reasons why he has problems with London as part of an explanation as to why he moved to the island of Nevis in the Caribbean.
And in another dig at the capital , Cleese said : ‘ And the icing on the cake is that Nevis is not the world centre for Russian dirty money laundering.’
Cleese , who rose to fame in the 1970s as a co-founder of the surrealist comedy group Monty Python , alongside Graham Chapman , Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle , Terry Jones and Sir Michael Palin , later added to his comments.
He said it is ‘ legitimate ‘ to prefer one culture to another.

BAGHDAD — The seven French citizens, wearing sandals and yellow jumpsuits , were brought before an Iraqi judge in a Baghdad courtroom this week to answer for their offense : joining the Islamic State.
Each admitted to having thrown in his lot with the militants , working as tax collector , Arabic teacher , military trainer , chicken seller , medical aide or fighter.
If there was evidence that any had committed a violent crime , it was never presented. Most had not even seen a lawyer until moments before being escorted into the courtroom.
And yet after seven trials over four days , Judge Ahmed Mohamed Ali delivered seven identical sentences : death by hanging.

SNC-Lavalin went to court to try to get tossed their prosecution on allegations that the company bribed Libyan officials to the tune of $47 million and defrauded organizations in the north African country out of $130 million.
Both of those actions would be a breach of the Canadian Criminal Code.
The company was charged in 2015 and has been fighting to stop the prosecution for years.
If found guilty , it would mean SNC would be banned from bidding on federal contracts for 10 years.
The company is already banned from World Bank projects over the same allegations …
Strategic Ambiguity
On March 21 , the New York Times posted a lengthy column by Comey headlined ‘ What I Want from the Mueller Report ‘…
Like a soothsayer , Comey wrote “ Even though I believe Trump is morally unfit to be president of the United States , I’m not rooting for Mueller to demonstrate that he is a criminal. I’m also not rooting for Mueller to ‘ clear ’ the president.”
Magically , the very next day , without previous notice to the public , Mueller submitted his report to Attorney General William Barr ; coincidentally , it neither charged nor “ exonerated ” ( Mueller’s term ) the president.
The Mueller-Comey one-two punch again is evident this week ; the pair clearly organized a coordinated hit job against both President Trump and Barr , who currently is investigating possible misconduct by Comey and his FBI.
Now thanks to another grudge-seeking joint stunt by Mueller and Comey , the Democrats and the media are recharged and ready to chase the folly of impeachment in time for the 2020 election.
Even though Mueller has stepped down as special counsel , it’s a fair bet to assume his days of double-teaming with Comey to settle scores are far from over.

A Wall Street Journal reporter with an outrageous case of Trump Derangement Syndrome declared on Wednesday the White House covered the name of the USS John McCain with a tarp during the President’s visit to Japan over the Memorial Day weekend.
Rebecca Ballhaus tweeted, “The White House wanted the USS John McCain ‘out of sight’ for Trump’s visit to Japan. A tarp was hung over the ship’s name ahead of the trip, and sailors—who wear caps bearing the ship’s name—were given the day off for Trump’s visit.
Ballhaus added, “A tarp was hung over the ship’s name ahead of the president’s trip, according to photos reviewed by the Journal, and sailors were directed to remove any coverings from the ship that bore its name. After the tarp was taken down, a barge was moved closer to the ship, obscuring its name. Navy officials acknowledge the barge was moved but said it was not moved to obscure the name of the ship.”
This , one has to surmise , is to infer that Trump is ‘ upset ‘ with McCain and would become all frustrated at seeing his name !!! … PURE BULLSHIT !!! …

Ultimately, the Journal reported , the tarp that covered the name of the USS John McCain was removed Saturday and the paint barge that obscured the name was removed as well—both ahead of Trump’s visit , Cmdr. Clayton Doss , a spokesman for the Navy’s Seventh Fleet, told the newspaper.
Instead of jumping the gun , maybe Meghan and her little friend at the Wall Street Journal should have waited for the damn facts to emerge rather than pouncing on President Trump.

SNC-Lavalin will stand trial on criminal corruption charges linked to its alleged business activities in Libya under former dictator Moammar Gaddafi.
A KBec judge ( Amazingly enough !!! ) ruled Wednesday morning that prosecutors have enough evidence to sustain a trial of the Montreal engineering giant , which stands accused of fraud and bribing Libyan officials between 2001 and 2011 to get contracts.
The evidence is under a publication ban.
If convicted , the company could face being barred for up to 10 years from bidding on government contracts …
