Lor Tunderin’ Trout !!! … 432 MILLION !!! …

Mike Trout and the Los Angeles Angels are close to finalizing a $432 million , 12-year contract that would shatter the record for the largest deal in North American sports history , a person familiar with the negotiations told The Associated Press.

The deal was disclosed Tuesday by a person familiar with the negotiations who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the agreement had not been finalized and had not been announced. The contract was likely to be announced by the end of this week , the person said.

Trout’s total would top the new $330 million , 12-year contract between Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies , and Trout’s $36 million average annual value would surpass pitcher Zack Greinke’s $34.4 million in a six-year deal with Arizona that started in 2016. The contract also would best Mexican boxer Canelo Alvarez’s $356 million deal with sports-streaming service DAZN.

With what he has already scored ( I won’t even suggest any of these people ‘ earn ‘ that kinda dough ! ) … He ‘ retire ‘ before his 40th birthday with over half a billion dollars !!! …

That’s just NUTS !!! …

Nutjob ? … Or ‘ NON-White Supremacist ‘ ?! …

UTRECHT , NetherlandsA gunman killed three people and wounded five during a mid-morning tram ride Monday in the Dutch city of Utrecht , raising the spectre of another extremist attack only days after the murderous rampage in New Zealand.

Gokmen Tanis.

Authorities seized a Turkish-born suspect after a manhunt that convulsed the historic city of nearly 350,000 people for most of the day.

As night set in , three victims lay in critical condition, and the motive for the bloodshed remained under investigation. Prime Minister Mark Rutte said authorities were trying to determine whether the attack had ” terror motives “…

” We assume a terror motive ” Mayor Jan van Zanen said as police searched for the killer , though he added that other motives could not be ruled out.

Let’s see how much traction THIS story gets in the MSM … I say , 10 – 1 , since the perpetrator is ‘ Turkish ‘ and not … ‘ A White Male Supremacist ‘ …  It’ll fade quickly …

Libs shoot themselves in foot over SNC-Lavalin scandal …

Michael Wernick is out, Jody Wilson-Raybould still can’t speak out and Justin Trudeau appointed a leading Liberal to investigate his own Liberals.

That was just part of Monday when it comes to the latest on the SNC-Lavalin scandal.

On Tuesday there will be more.

You would think after six weeks the Liberals would be getting a handle on this file , instead they seem to keep it alive and keep people talking about allegations that they wanted two-tiered justice for a well-connected company.

Citing the need for Canadians to “ have faith in their institutions and the people who serve within them ” Trudeau announced in the House of Commons that he was appointing one-time Liberal cabinet minister Anne McLellan as a special advisor.

McLellan was a cabinet minister under both Jean Chretien and Paul Martin. Both the Conservatives and the NDP were quick to point out that she was part of cabinet all through the sponsorship scandal.

No wonder the opposition called it Liberals investigating Liberals.

The bottom line is the Liberals keep shooting themselves in the foot over a scandal that can be summed up simply.

” We’ve accomplished a lot as a government over these past three and a half years and it was definitely in large part because of the extraordinary public service and Michael Wernick’s leadership within that … ” He will be missed ” Trudeau told reporters in the House of Commons foyer …

Opposition MPs seized on the latest development in what has become a string of high-profile resignations in the aftermath of the initial report of alleged PMO pressure , published in The Globe and Mail.

” Now we have an attorney general who has resigned , a Treasury Board president who has resigned , a top adviser to the prime minister who has resigned , and now the head of the public service itself has stepped down … The only person left who needs to resign now is Justin Trudeau himself ” said Conservative MP Pierre Poilievre.

Justin Trudeau allegedly fired his attorney general because she wouldn’t give a wealthy and well connected company a sweetheart deal on bribery and corruption charges.

Now the alleged coverup is killing them.

Also on today , Junior has ‘ made another decision ‘…

Anne McLellan , Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s newly-appointed “special” adviser who is examining some of the machinery of government issues at the heart of the SNC-Lavalin controversy, says the possibility of splitting up the justice minister and attorney general roles requires ” erious consideration “…

” Recently questions have been raised about the joint roles … And about the rules and norms which should govern the relationship between the justice minister and attorney general , other ministers , public servants and political staff. I believe that it is timely and appropriate to examine these questions. I look forward to providing my advice to the Prime Minister ” McClellan said in the statement announcing her appointment.

In other , ‘ non – politikspeak ‘ … ” We have to figure out a better way of circumventing the rule of law , so the public doesn’t notice “…

Scheer was quick to criticize the move during question period.

” Liberals will investigate Liberals … unbelievable Mr. Speaker ” he said. ” All for something that according to the prime minister , was completely false “…

Scheer then re-stated his party’s calls to allow Wilson-Raybould to testify again on the matter. The next opportunity for that possibility to be explored is Tuesday morning behind closed doors when the House Justice Committee meets to discuss next steps , including the prospect of having her appear again.

Of course the Liberals on the committee are on the job !!! …

In a joint letter , Liberal members on the justice committee said Monday that they have achieved their objectives and believe Canadians have all the “ necessary information ” in the case. ” Canadians can judge for themselves the facts , perspectives and relevant legal principles ” their joint letter says. “ We welcomed her request for an unprecedented 38-minute opening statement. During her testimony , she described in great detail her perspective of events we were examining ”…

Yeah right … ” We let her ramble on a couple of things that we felt ‘ safe ‘ with , but forced her to keep her mouth shut on the key information … SEE !!! … We’ve given Canadians a clear picture !!! “…

Where’s the Green Party ? … Why aren’t they up in arms screaming about the sky falling with all the bovine intestinal gases emanating from this BULLSHIT ?!!! …
