9:29 A.M. Parking on trial at Brampton courthouse …

This just in from MY neck of the woods !!! …

Staff at a Brampton courthouse remarked Friday that if a judicial application filed by three defence lawyers for reserved parking during a murder trial is granted , they’ll be asking for their own spot too … Ever since making the unusual request in Ontario Superior Court earlier this week , Daniel Brodsky , Gary Grill and David Smith have set the halls abuzz …
The lawyers have argued that they’ve been late for court recently because they’ve been circling a packed lot looking for a space … After hearing arguments Friday , Justice David Corbett reserved his decision until at least Tuesday … It could take longer , as a deluge of similar requests from court staffers and others is just one of many potential consequences … The application is the first of its kind in the country , said Brodsky , adding that regardless of which way the judgment goes , he believes it will have a ripple effect …

In court Friday , Corbett estimated there are 50 to 60 courthouses in the province and he doesn’t know of one that provides reserved parking to defence counsel … Parking in the Brampton lot is free , on a first-come first-served basis … But Brodsky said that unless you arrive 45 minutes before the 10 a.m. start , it’s a challenge to find a space … Especially on days when large jury panels are brought in for selection … The situation is so brutal , it’s become ‘ an embarrassment to the administration of justice ‘ said Brodsky , who , along with Grill , has child-care responsibilities that prevent him from arriving earlier …

WELL TOUGH SHIT GUYS !!! … How ’bout leavin’ your B’mers and Mercedes in the driveway and get off your ass and get it out the house a little earlier and take the fuckin’ bus !!! … Those of us who don’t make 300 bucks an hour have to do the same fuckin’ thing !!! … And we’re LOSIN’ money at the same time !!! …

I hope this ‘ judge ‘ tells them to suck it up !!! …

BOO FUCKIN’ HOO !!! …
