10:30 a.m. Lapierre , Luongo the heroes …

It’s not lookin’ so good for my Boston Bruins !!! … Despite Tim Thomas’ brilliant goaltending and extremely low GAA … They’re in the hole 3 – 2 goin’ back to the TD Centre … They’ve scored enough goals in games 3 and 4 to have won the series 4 straight !!! …

Damien Cox of the Toronto Star had this to say …

” At any rate , Luongo was excellent , making a terrific point-blank save on Patrice Bergeron at the 15-minute mark of the opening period , then closing out his shutout performance with good stops on Rich Peverley and Johnny Boychuk in the dying minutes.

What to make of Boston’s wet gunpowder after the explosions in Game 3 and 4 ? Milan Lucic , to be sure , wasn’t as dangerous in the fifth game , and neither was Brad Marchand. What really killed the B’s was getting four power plays in the opening 25 minutes of play and being unable to capitalize on a single one.

Hard to imagine they’ll be able to break loose with another bushel of goals back home on Monday , but this has been an unusual series that way. By late in the third , Claude Julien was using rookie Tyler Seguin alongside David Krejci and Lucic , and maybe we’ll see that look a little more ” …
